People:Mate Brian and self
Duration:0500hrs to 1730hrs
Tide:All
Weather[/bMorning, cold and overcast but turned out very warm and bright
[b]Bait:Mackeral, Squid, Lug, Sandeel, Crab
Rigs:
Results:Coalie 1 So many Pollack in the 1-3kg range we stopped counting at 23. Conger 1 3kg
Report:We arrived at rock mark near golf club slip at 0400hrs and had breakfast. Seatrout started jumping nearby so spinning gear was deployed with homemade flyin cs. Nearly every cast produced a fish but no seatrout. I have never seen fishing like it. Partly due to boredom hunger and a falling tide we went exploring. After some nourishment we fished a beach mark for 3hrs on a rising tide but I only lifted a conger. Some nice Mullet and Dabs could be seen in the crystal clear water but wouldn't play ball.I will be trying these marks again very soon. Lug and rag is easily dug at several places arround the island.
