Well.Headed out today against my better judgement.
Had decided not to go mullet fishing for a month or so,to let Davy Murdoch try to claw a few back and save some face. But then DAvy McCormick requested i catch more mullet and basically kick him while he is down.So here goes.
First fish about 3lb

Second fish was weighed at 3 lb 9oz

p.s. Davy blanked again tonight

nice one Colin, just when I thought I was catching up with you as well, you do realise that davy will end up getting an absolute monster mullet just to rub our(your) nose in it. Though after tuesday I'm seriously doubting his ability to actually land a fish after watching him poach 2 hook-ups and quick losses from a shoal of fish I had feeding
Nice reel btw.

not fussed on bubble floats.im using the bottom 2 inches of a cigar float.cos its white it seems to attract the mullet.
a crystal waggler or similar will do the trick too..
not sure if you want my advice as i couldn`t catch the cold these days, and it doesn`t help when i cant get good weather anytime i`ve got spare time to fish
