Good work on the smoothie Aurelien, I'm sure you will pick up a few more over the summer.

Hardluck, conditions were perfect for that spot on thursday, but atleast you got your sea species count off to a good start for the year.

There'll hopefully be back there in numbers over the next few weeks if this sh**e weather calms down a bit.

At this time of the year (coinciding with a big crab moulting (or peelering ?) period), there is always smoothies in this area ... Last year got 7-8 in the same night and a couple much bigger than the photo ... North Dublin can fish very well but less regularly than the South (for example when I was living in Killiney) in my opinion ... I don't know if it's the nature of the seabed , currents ... or the trawlers ...
