Report:

A very quiet session.

2 guys next to me were catching lots of small pollack on shrimp rigs, but it all went quiet for then once it started to get dark.

Had 3 hookups with Coalies, were the fish came off halfway up the pier wall

Highlight of the night (apart from the scorpion)was being called over lo identify an "eel" that one of the guys next to me had caught. It turned out to be the biggest ragworm I have ever seen I explained what it was, and the guy gave it me for bait.

Fishing at the Dee is bound to improve soon (fingers crossed)

well done on the new species man, seems to be poor fishing down that way at the minute for some reason. . i've been sticking to the antrim coast lately

Cheers lads. No one seems to be catching much around north down at the minute. Even the wrasse seem to have disappeared. Going to try to get a run out again on Sunday or Monday night. Sure, don't they say that god loves a trier
