fished hear on the 14/03/05 good pollack arriving and something pretty decent which i couldnt get over the weed!!!! if you clear the weed here which only goes around 40 yards out its really sandy. some superb plaice here last year!!! mark should improve now as the months wear on. best fished in september here. last september i had a 3lb plaice, 2 pollack over 2lb each, mackerel on mackerel bait and some really nice wrasse all in the same 5 hour period. my favourite venue in county antrim. littered with different species there is even a chance of cuckoo wrasse here!

if you keep your eyes open for a broken old pier which sits out in the water, there is not much of it left now but on the belfast side of the pier around 200 yards there is a little grassy laybay enough for 1 car to pull in you will see lots of rubbish and stuff lying around unfortunatly right there! anywhere on the other side of that wall. ground can be tricky the further you can cast the better but generally if you clear 50 yards!!!! you will miss the weed.

its not a rocky beach there is a wall which has a flat piece of concrete just on the other side of it but you are in the right area. fishing there again yesterday big coalie was all i had at the end of the session. should improve hopefully in the next few weeks!
