Report:
Tried the luck at the pier last Night. Sent down a Mackerel Head on a conger trace and wacked out some mackerel on a two hook Flapper. Got nice doggie on the flapper and was shocked when the conger trace which i sent down the side of the bridge started going mental. Pulled in a nice bass that had gone for the old mackerel head. Savage!!! Got the bass back into the water as quickly and as smoothly as possible.
I never had this luck when i targeted bass!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, night was very windy so bite detection was tough and the pier fishing was fairly tame,
Steve.
