Report: Well we got our anual delivery of 300+ Frozen Crabs for the Summer Hounds and decided to test out the bait last night, although the tide was not in our favour we persisted and were duly rewarded with some frantic action.
Tom a new member to the team joined up with us, hes only beginging to learn to fish, although he blanked last night I can see him hauling in Hounds to Beat The Band! once I give him a few lessons on the 7HT

Anyway the fishing was quiet from 8pm to midnight, no bites to report, merely sending baits out to different locations between the multiple sand bars in search of a hungry hound. Baits were comming back untouched all round.
Baz was first to connect with a Hound, turns out he had blasted out a bait to the horizon and found a fine hungry Hound on the back of a sand bar. With out delay

I sent out a bait in the same manner and connected with one too. After that it became a bit of a blur with double hook ups and dropped Hounds all over the place. Pat conecting with a few also. A solid hour of quality fishing was had( we didnt want to be greedy

), we packed up a 1am as Baz was working in the morning.
Remember to set your DRAG!My new Tip Tornado LD nearly went for a swim after a Hound ( he was obviously on a mission

) hit my bait and took off, up to the left of the beach ,....down to the right of the beach, I tried to turn him and he done a sort of a semi back flip/tailwalk...great fight !
I will be back out tomorrow morning at dawn to catch the tide so watch this space
