Creevy, Co.Donegal

Wed Mar 09, 2005 10:33 pm

Saturday 5th
Fished night tide with two rods cast on to small patch of clean. Mackerel and lugworm. Reasonable fishing with whiting showing. All fish quite small though. Did take a nice flounder of about a pound. Not very warm out.

In between Ballyshannon and Rossnowlagh beach. Coming from Rossnowlagh you turn down right off the 'main' road and its about 2 miles.

Thre revised details for the Creevy Experience charter are posted on the charter boat pages (Donegal) off the front page of the website, including a link to their website. I have not fished there so can not vouch for it. ... onegal.htm

Excellent pollock and wrasse fishing all along that shore from Creevy all the way to Innishmurray Island. Specimen pollock a not unrealistic target from the boat. Haven't fished off that particular boat but from what I hear they are a professional outfit. I have a feeling though that they might be operating from one of the ports on the northern shore of Donegal bay, not sure though.
