So we went to the other pier. Set up 1st rod with 3 hook flapper and caught a steady stream of whiting. When are these stupid fish going to bugger off??? When???
But the blasted whiting barely even give you a knock. Where’s the fun in that??
No photos. If you don’t know what a 20 cm whiting looks like, you’ve not been fishing anywhere near where I’ve been fishing and good luck to you I say!
Seriously, anyone know when they’re likely to leave?

That was myself further up the pier last night. Things got quite busy after you left. Got a dog and a load more of the whiting, bit bigger than usual. Had a couple of small dabs to.
Always good to put a face to a name. Didn't realise it was you I was talking to.
Cheers,
Stephen

Is that a promise?? Is it an exact date? As in next Friday every piddly pin whiting will up an leave? Is it like The Great Migration? Do they leave in one big shoal on 1st May?
If that's the case shouldn't there be a Whiting report up for those that manage to catch a Whiting after 1st May??
