Weather:flat calm and warm

Bait: mackeral and sandeel

Rigs:pulley

Results:1 dogfish 55cm

Report:On sunday afternoon my wife announced that she was to meet some friends for the evening and started apologising for leaving me for the evening :( , so by the time she was out through the pillars in the car I was in the garage gathering some beach gear :) :) :) and thankfull some bait stashed in the freezer for just such an emergancy :!: :!: :!: I arrived at fahan at 7.30 to see one other angler who had been fishing for about 3 hrs with two dogfish, so things wern't too promising, with low water at 9.50. I really enjoyed my surprise evening fishing but only had one dogfish 55cm to add to my list although something did keep stipping my bait, now it is possible that this could have been crab but I like to think it was one rouge, very lost, very crafty 12lb stray cod
But hey at least 1 dogfish is better than any amount of weed and crab. :? :? :?
