DE WALL

Postby cobh-skipper » Wed Mar 02, 2005 2:18 am

I fished monkstown for the whole weekend sat,sun and mon.. last hour of the ebb and the first of the flood tide.. a lot of small stuff around at the moment. i tried various marks up and down the wall.
sat was the best day, maybe this was due to the fact there was a competition there at the time all those baits out there stiring things up.
had a nice rockling first cast followed by numerous small whiting two at a time at one stage.
then two codling one after the other 1lb and maybe 1.5lb then when the tide started flooding i couldnt hold the bottom.
sun and mon were similar except for the codling. :(
i used a mixture of peeler and fresh and frozer lug. all in all not a bad way to spend a weekend.. : :D

Good man. I miss "De Wall". I think I'll build my own up here somewhere and pretend the fishing is half as good!
