People:Me
Duration:8pm-11pm
Tide: High at 11pm ish
Weather:SE breeze nice.
Bait:Razor
Rigs:Pulley, 1 hook flapper
Results:Bass 3 kilo 62cm
Report:Went for a stroll this afternoon and sussed out a few spots along the beach at low water that might be fishable. Headed back down that evening about 8pm. I had a bit of razor in the freezer and took that with me. Tide, weather and moon all looked good. Nothing for the first few hours as soon as it got dark had a slack line bite missed it. Next cast about 1Opm the rod doubled in the stand struck into what felt like a nice fish, a short time later after a great scrap landed a nice bass that weighed in at 3 kilo 62cm nicest fish i've had in a while now.
Had a decent rockling after that aswell. Finished up around 11 as it was starting to freshen and the tide was pushing on. Delighted with the bass i knew that spot could produce decent fish. He's still swimming around there aswell. Took a few photos with the phone but there not great now.

Cheers for the comments lads it's nice to know fish like that can be still caught around Dublin, it was a great scrap and little bit of planning payed off, fish this size are generally not good eating, considering the age and the fact its possibly spawning personally i found it hard to justify keeping it,so i let her go. Its nice to know there's a few like that still swimming around there.
