tried every bait i had but had only one good bite,nearly knocked the rod over but Notting on the line when i reeled in
could have been a dog fish but i thought it was a bit bright for dogs

tried the polo/balloon rig again today and got great distance with it,ran out of line on the reel,tide was running right and wind at my back

Unlucky Gerry hopefully Clifden will start producing like we know it can soon, a couple of the lads tried Slopers Cliff on Saturday they'd no joy either.

tried Slopers Cliff a few weeks back but no joy,i did think about going there on sunday but went to the white lady instead because i would have the wind at my back,if the water warms up a small bit the bay should start producing again,will keep trying until then

i even tried floating it was that quiet!
