not to sure :? , looks a bit like a haddock, see the mouth, theres quite a few of em about, when the weather was cold a few weeks back the surf line was full of em.

Great fishing art.. (I met you once or twice prowling that shore line).I know that beach...away in distant shores at the moment but I always look in to see how your getting on :mrgreen:

They were all very small have you any ideas why this was :?: :?:

8) :) , under the conditions, locations and tatics, 8) ie. daylight fishing, little surf, shallow clear beach/water, smallish baits/hooks its as much as i be expected, did note that the fish were very close, 30/50m. and most were male, it has become clear that the main spawning time is around here is march/april think it would be better to have the closed season now? as it seems to be the peak time, by may/june most breeding is over is over, i think it would be better for the fish and anglers?? :?

yeah man 8) 8) :) , i got that big bass feelin to :shock: ,.........later in the week................i,am relineing the reels with 20lb gut 8) , an gettin the 4/0s out :P ...............full razors pennel rigged in close 8) 8) , on da edge of the ruff, around 6/7 pm.........................................bump,bump,.....................................i have em, :P :P :lol: :lol: :lol: 11lb sometin, wooho, :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :shock: 8) :P :P

i,m hoping to get one over the 12 lb mark this year art ,i lost one over that last year and am hoping she comes back a wee bit fatter this year 8) still the fight alone was great adrenalin by the bucket load :lol:

Thanks Danny,

but it was Cortaz who came out and just said wot we were all thinkin (I hope!). Just to cheer you up heres a pic of the cod I got the other evenin (sorry for the poor quality but camera went dead so had to use phone). :D
