tide- high-low

weather- light breeze and bright

duration- 1.00pm-7.15pm

bait- mack, squid, lug and white rag

rigs- flappers

results- me- 1 long spined sea scorpian, 1 pollack, a doggie, sea weed and me
john- 1 pollack, crabs, sea weed and me

john and i had been planning a session somewhere for about a week, so decided to give secret millisle spot a go, so i got up early and dug some lug and white rag, went to trap and tackle and got some mack and squid and headed down. it was slow at the start but about 3pm i got a sea scorpian pretty close in, was surprised to get one so early on, i then got a small doggie about 4.30 or 5pm off the rocks at the back of the peir, we then went on to the secret spot and tried a rod on the harder part of it for pollack and a couple for flattie, we had a pollack each here.

still its good to get a few fish through the day at this time of year. squid was the best bait.

hopefully a rainbow trout tomorrow.

or for sea fishing probably a flounder or a dab.

well i was puttin bait on his hook and he gave it a bit of a pull the point went in.
