People: Just me ( and a steak & cheese sandwich)
Venue: Bunagee Pier, Culdaff, Co. Donegal 20.02.09
Time & Tide: 7.00-10.30pm tide falling to low, weather mild with sea flat calm.
Bait: Ragworm(thanks Derek), Yellow tail Lugworm, both tipped with mackeral. all on flapper rigs.
1 dogfish 59cm, 2 three bearded rockling 11 & 21cm, 8 coalfish 19-22cm.
Felt good to be out fishing again and the sandwich was very tasty! This is a pier that I reckon could well throw up a few good conger from the rocks behind the pier, hope to try later in year.

Culdaff pier fishes well at this time of year plenty of coalies and a few surprises as well  say nothing till you here more

BUT the beach in Culdaff fishes better with plenty of flats and coalies and you might get lucky and come across a "bar of silver" and i don't mean sea trout which are plentiful near the river on the beech   8) 8)
