People:
Me and dave (a good fishing mate)
Duration:
5.30pm (just at dusk) to 10pm
Tide:
turn to high
Weather:
blustery and cold
Bait:
mackeral and sand eel
Rigs:
baited feathers, home made trace's using no. 5 hooks. and a copper spoon!!
Results:
Many many pollack about 30 between us, biggest pollack 7 pound, 3 crabs, 1 star fish.
Report:
first cast landed a small pollack. then every cast for next hour small pollack. it was like shooting fish in a barrel, they even tryed to grab the floats, dave stuck a copper spoon on for the laugh and they took that!!
small pollack eased off about 6pm when the sun was rightly gone down. then the big boys started to show in small numbers, mostly maxing 2 pounds, but they put up a good fight. then Dave lands the big 7 pound thumper, it faught like a demon. about 9 it went very quite up till 9.45 when we checked one of the rods to find a star fish on it, poor dave hadn't a clue what it was and was afraid to touch it, as he is a big pike man.

He was rock solid, felt like a sea urchin,
