People. Collie and Tom
Duration. 4 hrs
Tide. high, dropping
Weather. dry, freezing
Rigs. single hook rig and float rig for me, treble hook rig for tom.
Results: 3 small Pollack and a dab for me and 3 whiting and a tree-bearded rockling for tom
Report:arrived (16:45) with high water laping against the rocks and about an hours sunlight left, set up two rods each, 3 were given a fair whack out and one i fished close to the rocks on a float in the hope of picking off a pollack. I find greystones never fishes well until dark and sure enough as soon as the sun set the bites came thick and fast, mainly the short sharp thumps from pin whiting

tom landing the first of these. my float rig landed me a pollack , smallest one ive caught in ages but still a welcome pull on the string. another 40mins of action would see tom land a couple more whiting and a rockling and me more pollack and a respectable dab. nothing amazing but a good few hours out of the house.
