Report:Everything ready for xmas by 2pm so headed to greystones to destress for a few hours before Santa arrives. Couldnt get any worms so had to make do with frozen mack and squid. Very calm seas so i was looking forward to seeing a few bites. Fishing was very slow with whiting coming every so often ,,,it was hard work trying to winkle out a few. Had to keep casting different directions and moving the bait a few turns if there was no interest in it. This seemed to do the job and the whiting were enticed to go after the bait as it moved. After 6 whiting it took an hour to get the seventh (i was trying for ten

), then i hit a good spot and got the last three in 10 mins

. Unfortunately this kept me there another hour

. Took a pic of the first and smallest whiting in case he was the only fish

. I got the scorpion fish on the small rod, fairly decent one too, who gave the best bite of the session

. Left early to get to bed before Santa arrives,,,Happy Xmas
