People: Me
Duration:3:30 pm -6:00 pm
Tide: rising (http://www.irishtimes.com/weather/tides.html)
Weather: NW gale (80 Kph plus), water calm, freezing
Bait: rag, lug
Results: 4 X dogs, 1 good plaice (1 LB+), 10+ small whiting

Well girls, the uvoxmeister was back for another session. Difficult fishing with the roaring gale at my back, occasionally blasting sand at me, and the freezing weather which numbed my fingers and made baiting up tough.

Still, this is the stuff that real anglers are made of. No big girls blouse SUV parked on the beach, or oul wan beach buddy to hide in for me, no sir.

Not a bad session given the conditions. Fish were again about 80-100 metres out. Everything fell to rag this time, including one bizarre incident where a dogfish and whiting were hooked on the same hook. Go figure that...

It's getting to be a real pain with those whiting though. Such a bait-waste.

Nice to get the Plaice though. Will cook up well with some chips.
