What way did the bait work? Did you mix the lug and crab or did one fish better than the other?

Well done - good going for a two hour session.

All fish fell to Crab. Tried a couple of cocktails but no action.

Hopefully il be knocking them out again soon.
Cod was only a fish finger. Nice redish color though.

Danny how do you find the frozen black lug works?
I have been using it lately as I didn't have the time to drive out to the coast and dig my own lug but havn't had much success with it, unless it was in a combination with razor - and I think it was more the razor that attracted the bass.

I never had much luck with it when targeting Bass to be honest.
Its ok for the winter species but in saying that, their usually not fussy when it comes down to it.
I find it usefull for bulking up big cocktail baits for Cod.

Thanks Danny, I guess I will just have to get the fork out and dig my own fresh lug - and have an aching back to look forward to

Rock Hunter its either get the fork out or have to fork out eh? I used the frozen stuff twice over the summer and had no bites that why I was wondering about the bait.
Cheers Danny!

I bought a few packs of frozen black lugs a while back - but when I think about it I dont think I have caught much with them when using them alone, maybe a flounder or two but that's about it.
At least I will get some good free exercise with all the digging - especially this time of year when they go deeper into the sand.
