Report: with a beautiful night in store it was decided by all to fish a secrete mark in wicklow, oooooooooh. little did we no what a great night i t was going to be, Rodger and i arrived with Keith and Dennis having already casted out on their really expensive clique zipplex creations, the tackle tart word was muttered by each of us. i decided to fish two rods, one at moderate distance and the other in close for a BASS, oh my god could i be so lucky. surely not 4 sessions in a row. dennis was fishing about 400 yards out with his, keith wasnt much further behind and with the ever experienced sea dog rodger beside i felt quite nervous to be in such good company, these where really good anglers.

(no idea why i put those in but anywho) rodger drew first blood with a cracking whiting, must have been like 25cm, nice to see them that size during global warming times such as these. then we all got fish dennis got a decent cod and i got a rockling , whiting double, lucky me i was thrilled

then a fisheries officer popped down and had a chat with keith, while two others kept hush in the distance. all of sudden dennis's rod bent over and obviously had a god fish on,the moonlight shimmered upon its beautiful fins as the bar of of silver approached the suds. a bit of tentative retrieving later reviled a cracking schoolie through the surf. dennis at this point had to sit back and take a breather with a cup of coco as he was simply beat. this spurred keith, myself and rodger on, perhaps there was more about. i missed a lovely bite and rodger got a slick liner from a crab. called it quits about 1am and decided to make home, what a night, kept a few whitning fo dinner!!!!
