Results:pollack to 6.5lb ,coalies -2lb, flounder, whiting ,mackerel




Report:headed out to try new mark after a yarn with hairy conger ,jh had first three fish of the day a 3lb ,a 3.5lb pollack and a cracking 6.5lb pollack all pulled from the kelp on bait.
the jam man was in full flow
i then had a 2lb pollack on a jelly worm and a nice flounder on rag/mack combo
when my ray bait at distance started bouncing which resulted in a large mackerel :roll:
we then had a nice coalie and whiting coming onto dark before we headed home

this pollack was attracted to rag /mack with silver foil of a monster munch wrapper whipped on for an attracter :lol: :lol:

nice fishing lads, there nice pollock,always said the west coast was hot!!

cracking fishing lads :shock: :shock: :shock: you must have needed a good pile of chips to accompany those tasty pollock :P :P . i've been hearing rumors of blue fin tuna being taken round that area, (allbeit small ones) any truth in this :? :? :? :?

not sure about the shore but there are charter trips out of killybegs that fish for tuna. have seen pictures of some cracking bluefin!
