Bait: Rag
Rigs: 2 hooks rig
Results: countless number of whiting, 1 dab, 5 rockling and 2 small bass
Report:
The weather looked good and after checking the tide for Arklow I decided to go fishing.
On the way home I stopped to buy some rag, arrived home, fed the kids and off I went.
Arrived to Ennereilly, the wind was very strong but the moon was out and the night was quite bright.
The sea was quite rough and it was difficult to see the bites as the tip of the rod was going crazy.
I tried to hold the rod but it didn’t make much difference, I was using a weight with the gripper but it didn’t help much as the waves and current were very strong.
I start catching some very small whiting followed by a dab, it was a good start.
I got lots more whiting (a couple of nice fish) and 5 rockling.
At around 22.15 I had 4 rag warm left (I bought two bags), the wind hazed down and to my surprise I got a tiny bass. I was going mad because I only had 4 rag left and there was a good chance that other bass were around.
Change the bait and cast again, I got another small bass same size as before [maybe the same fish

].
I start looking around for some pieces of discarded rag that I threw away while I was changing the bait. I managed to find a couple of pieces and fished again for some time, I managed to get another couple of whiting before it started raining and I then packed my stuff to go home.
I had a cracking night, it was not too cold, the moonlight was great and I caught lots of fish.
