Report: it was surprisingly bright at times - had intended to fish the pier there - but the wind without gear was hard to deal with

decided to go north of the pier onto the beach in the lee of the sourhterly breeze

weed was about didnt look too bad

blank saved - shivered along for another 2 hours waiting for a bit of the fill - spot was pretty shallow and then the weed started to come back in

prop did well enough just to scratch that lad out of it

still a stunning location and the locals fierce friendly even though they were as mad a me walking the beach!

hi corbyrire,
if you had carried on walking up the beach( fair enough its a fair walk)till you came to an elbow of the beach, wadded out for your cast, you would have hit deep water with lots of speices on that spot, that spot holds double figure rays, and at right time of the year you can hook tope from that mark. best fished at L/W

"wadded out for your cast"

if your aunt had balls shed be your uncle but all the same on the day that was in it i was staying on land

ill remember that for next time - i could see the bouys marking the channel but the wind kept bringing the cast parallel to the beach ...
