Couple of weedfish and a hungry crab.

Not much to say. I know this mark doesn't fish well during the day but not one single knock all day :roll:

Well now, I have to give you 100 out of 10 for persistence.

But why oh why didnt you give the rocks by the harbour a shot.....atleast you'd have got a few flatties, maybe even the odd plaice for your trouble.

I kinda get the feeling your a gluten for punishment :shock:

Yeh well the rocks is a spot I usually fish but I got a new rod and wanted to try a few whacks off the beach. Didnt feel like luggin all the gear back to the van and setting up again. I suppose its a mixture of laziness and perseverance that kept me there ;)

I FISHED A COMP ON THAT BEACH ON WEDNESDAY LAST AND WE GOT A FEW FISH SOME DECENT FLOUNDER A PAICE ONE OR TWO NICE DABS AND SOME DOGGYS ALSO A GOOD FEW SMALL COD AND I MEAN SMALL ALL IN DAYLIGHT HOURS, IT DOES HOLD FISH ALBEIGHT A LOT OF SMALLER ONES SOME PEGS ON THE COMP DIDNT DO WELL AND SOME DID SO ITS ALL ABOUT CHANGING TACTICS CLOSE IN FAR OUT ETC ETC, BEADS WERENT WORKING FOR ME AND I CHANGED TO CLEAR TRACES AND STARTED GETTING SOME FISH. MOVED TO THE ROCKS LATER AFTER COMP AND IT WAS CONSTANT BITES WITH A PLAICE AND SOME WHITING LANDED THE ROCKS ALWAYS PRODUCE BUT FISH ARE A BIT SMALLER PROB CAUSE ITS FISHED SO MUCH. HOPE THAT HELPS. THERE ARE SOME BETTER MARKS FURTHER UP THE GANNONS IF YOU FANCY THE WALK. :D :D :D
