went to pier with craig put out the beachcasters then a rod for conger, kept getting bites on beachcasters but no hookup s noticed conger rod take a nice curve nodding away lifted and struck didnt feel right kept reeling away a lovely length of rope surfaced well over specimen size (20ft r so).the wind was picking up all the time with a few waves coming over end of pier so decided to pack up and go home.will be back to catch the tip rattlers i couldnt hook.
