Just wondering which side are you fishing on the Sky Rd side or the opposite? Must try get up your way soon for a session  haven't fished up there in a while now. Any sign of ray and wrasse around lately?

hi salty dog
fishing on the sky road side,go to Clifden Boat Club on the beach road and park there, then follow the walk way to the left of the Boat Club over the stile then over two more stiles then follow the track down to the left down to the cliff, about 5 min's walk from the boat house, cliffs 15 or 20 foot high, and fishing in to clean ground
have not caught any ray since the 6/Sept most days before that I was getting them after 10 min's of setting up,most I caught on 1 day was 18 :D
have not seen any wrasse,I tried some float fishing for them but didn't get a bite, maybe I was doing it wrong

if you are up this side I will tell you a spot that I think you might get a bass from,I got hooked 2 times into some fish that was sliver and very fast and put up a good fight,I never caught a bass or seen a bass been caught before so I don't really know how they fight but I know it was the best fight I had with a fish until I lost it  keeping this mark a secret  only telling those who I think will catch and release
