bait- maggot, mack, squid, lug, earthworm and limpet
rigs- pennel rig on a running leger, 3 hook flapper, float, macky traces and a congdr rig
duration- all day sat (06.45-21-30) and 12.30-19.30 sunday
tide- all
results- 2 pollack, 3 coalies, 1 dogfish, 3 dab, 1 plaice and 3 flounders.
i went down for the day on saturday, got first fish at low tide (dogfish) on a size 3/0 pennel rig with squid which added another species to my list. next got a dab about 10cm on the beech, on the edge of dark got some pollack and coalies at the peir.
on sunday got a few flatties after about 3.30pm includin another new species (plaice). i only fished the beech the whole day.

fair play for sitting out all them hours. good fishing too! that mark seems to be throwing up plenty of fish for ya recently.

yeah why its sudch an unfished coastline i dont know theres every thing about it.

it does seem to have a certain stigma about it for some reason. am sure there are some crackin spots down that way. i was down driving to portaferry a couple of weeks ago and checked out afew places. quincey bay and afew other places between potavogie and millisle looked fishy
