Report:
went to place described by barry missed fish first cast as was casting second rod seemed a decent whack. half an hour later first dogfish then small bites and caught a pin whiting on small hook on pennel. Quiet after that began to get cold getting odd nod from dogfish chris arrived he got a madra too moved up further on beach got a couple of sudden bites struck quickly missed them but two lads up the way landed coalfish which explained those been a long time since i got a coalie bite cold got too much and headed home. Its a beautiful spot and will try there again at some stage

big lug baits for ballyquin is best - caught very little on anything else there and fished it hard last year :roll:

I was one off the two lads. Not enough surf and Kraken is kind of right lug, but razor and lug try that.
