Culdaff beach can fish really good or it can be really crap. All the baits that u used at the pier will work but mack will usually do the job on its own. Theres alot of small turbot on the beach and it throws up the the odd decent flounder. Also plenty of sea trout there. After dark will produce good numbers of coalies. Haven't fished it in a while now but our club has a few meets coming up so hopefully there will be a good lot of fish about then. Hope this helps.

Most beaches fish well in donegal at this time of year. You just have to get out and try them.

like Ronan said mackerel will usually do the job on its own.
also if your fishing the main beach, try down to the left with a sandeel out at distance, works well for seatrout.
a friend of mine fished it last week and blanked, not even a bite for 6 1/2 hours of fishing.
he went back and fished it again after dark, result: 2 seatrout, loads of coalies, plenty of small turbot and one 12lb eel for two hours fishing.
so a late incoming tide would be your best bet.
