Tide: dropping
Weather: clearing skys after the rain
Bait: Rag and Lug
Rigs: single hook rigs and 3 hook flappers
Results: Three codling, a Whiting, Pouting and a Flounder
Report: Went to Killiney to try for some codling moved up and down the beach a few times with not much showing only a dropped fish between us and a flounder in close on a scratching rig for me. It was around 30cm which is a nice fish for the beach. Eventually we found the fish and were getting some nice bites for the last hour or so first cast I got a nice codling which had the rod hoping in the stand eric had counting codling and whiting as well. I got some whiting and eric managed another codling and a pouting as well as some whiting before the end. Was not a bad session once we found the fish.

Well done lads nice codling..... could be a good year for them
