people- me
rigs- 3 hook flappers, pullies and macky traces
bait- lug and white rag
tide- flood and ebb
results- 11 pollack, 2 coalies, 1 dab and 3 flounder

was bord sittin in the house on sunday so i gave in to the temptation and went down the beech, got some flatties and coalies and missed what i think was a cod, well it looked like one in the water, looked around 2-3Ibs.
on monday i just fished around the peir and got a load of little pollack to around 4oz.

I've never fished Millisle but must give it a shot someday as you seem to be having a good few sessions there. Well done and respect for fishing what seems as a reletively un-fished spot. 8)

What end of the beach do you fish or does it not matter. I always thought Millisle Beach would be a bit "featureless".

breaking waves, even small rollers, can make depressions in the bottom that move with the tide whether it is the rise or the ebb. it can be a good spot to try for flats...
