People:myself and saltydog
Duration: till 1:40am (ish)
Tide:falling and rising
Weather:started of calm, mild and overcast, ended up clear, cold with stiff breeze
Bait:mack and sandeel
Rigs:heavy trace rigs and light rigs
Results:huss, mackerel and a black goby
Report:headed to this mark as there is deep water in close.. set up with large baits and cast out, then did a bit of spinning to see what was about.. ended up with a mackerel straight off.. got a nice bite on the beachcaster which turned out to be a good sized huss.. salty had to go down and lift it out

, nicely hooked in the lower jaw so no need for T-bar.. a quick photo and weigh (6lbs 2oz), a good start to a promising session.. salty had a float out on his light rod and ended up with picking up a mackerel... more fresh bait.. i changed my light tackle to a 2 hook boom size 4 hook top see what i could pick up below our feet.. a few taps but only ended up with crabs... so ended up casting out and leaving it for a while only to pull out a black goby.. new species or me

cast out again and picked up a mackerel.. then that was that.. crab city from here on in

they must now be the fattest crabs on the south Galway shores
