Report:
Due to prior commitments (Millbank on the razzlle

), our regular Saturday night Wexford session was cancelled. Not wanting to waste the fine weather, I headed down to the rocks a Greystones for a quick fix. A mack fillet was fished at distance & Junior tried to increase his species list with a wrasse or two. Got the dab & whiting on the pulley (hook was bigger that the whiting, hungry little git!). Junior decided to switch to mack strip as the prawns proved useless. he flicked out his rig and almost vanished off the rocks as a mullet hit his bait just as he closed over the bail arm on his reel.
After a short fight, he got the fish up & onto the rocks just as the hook length snapped. We took a quick pic & then got an earfull from a couple of lads that had pulled in their van. They could not understand why anyone would throw back a perfectly good salmon...................
