People: Ross and Emmet

Duration: 2 hrs.

Tide: 1 hr either side of HW

Weather: At last a break from the Rain! Fresh Westerly, nice swell

Bait: Crab

Rigs: Ross -Floatfished - 12 ft. drop 3/0 single hook with crab
Emmet - bottom fished with crab 3/0 single hook.

Results:
Ross - 4 Ballan Wrasse best 5 lb. Specimen.
Emmet - 3 Ballan Wrasse best 3.5 lbs.

Report: The rain stopped at last so we headed for Bonfils Creek at Ross. Had fished a crab pot earlier at Querrin Pier for the bait. We were really trying for Triggers which did not turn up though we missed some rattling bites! However the big Ballan made up for it. It was photograped with camera phone, weighed on a certified scales and returned alive.
