Report:not much to report here, forgot my camera,,,lights,,, and there wasnt much action either  we fished 6 mile point near Newcastle. usual dogs and dabs and Fishface getting doubles and outfishing me again   ,,,,, but on the plus side i got in some practice casting with lighter line 12 lb,, i usually use 20lb,, and was amazed at the added distance,,,, thanks Neil(again!!),,,and happy 66th birthday next sunday   . You dont look it,,,,you must have a picture in your attic(dorian grey  ) We also got some valuable local knowledge relating to tides and conditions etc but we're sworn to secrecy  .Didnt see much else being caught here except dogs and dabs. I went to Greystones today (2-4pm) with the leftover bait and got 1 dog and 2 dabs(you could have put the two of them on the one slice of bread!!) at the la touche hotel rocks   .

Ahh Dave,

I had a feeling I should of given you a call this afternoon, kinda figured you'd be at work though so didnt bother sorry mate.

I was fishing just round the corner from you, to your right, on the rocks by the small swimming pier to the left end of the south beach.

Hi Mark,, I saw someone fishing at those rocks. I saw some mack, pollack and launce taken from there the other night. Didnt know it was you. I just went out to Viking tackle to buy line and ended up using up bait from the previous night. Cant go today ,,have to attend funeral but thanks for the offer  ,,,good luck
