Plugs Mackerel - Mullet and Bread:
Running ledger - float rigs:
1 Bass 5lb - 10 Mullet to 5lb 8 Conger eels to 26lb:
[b]Me and Rich headed to Cobh for 4 days fishing. Hoped to meet up with Boycie but it wasnt to be (maybe next year Andy). Went fishing straight from the Airport and had a Bass on a Crystal Angel Chase Plug. The water was quite colored and the wind was picking up so that ruined the Bass fishing for the week.

Spent day 2 fishing for Mullet in Cobh where we had 5 fish to 4lb missing and being broken by several others. spent the afternoon and evening trying for Bass but it was not happening.
Spent day 3 trying to catch some Mullet for bait and there were no Mackerel in Cobh or at Ballycotton. Got a bit worried when 10 hoodies turned up on the pier, should have known the Ballycotton Massive were in town. so they came back with their rods and we had a right good laugh. big thanks to Ronan for all the information and Bradley for managing not to kill himself. Had 4 Congers in the first hour though they were no where near Boycie's or Gibbos Monsters[/img]
so Rich saved the day with a 26lb fish then a 23lber whilst i played with the strap fish, the Massive also took several fish to 15lb
Went to Fish Inch on the 4th day but there was to much weed so with only a small selction of gear (next time we are hiring a bloody van) we went back to Ballycotton though the Conger were not feeding Rich showed the Massive how to catch Mullet
Big thanks to the Massive and to Boycie
see you next year
