there was about 16 fishing there and they were having no joy . i used to fish there some great catchs had 97 mack one evening last year it filled the freezer for a bit but there is no comfort people pushing ,ya casting over your line, got brown off with it about 4 weeks ago when the only to thing that was getting hooked was me and it wasn't by self either so i think i'll leave the long walk to the non nationals there is way more comfort behind the harbour company sheltered from the breeze more room and no chance of crossing lines and very handy parking .

Was fishing there myself during the week, saw no macks caught. Like yourselves I just gave up and targetted the mullet instead. Had about 3 or 4 before I changed tactics and tried to get a huge trout that was shadowing them. Must have been about 10lbs!
Incidentally I didn't know that fishing is no longer allowed in the area at the start of the pier due to the number of swans being found tangled in line?

is that the reason for the no fishing - swans in the line!
i saw that sign there a while back and was thinking it was new
