cobh fishing ?

hi all am thinking of fishn cobh this week any one been there latley

i wouldn't even boder its after going right down hill in the past 5 years only thing i can say if you going to go conger fishing under neat the first railway footbridge is a good spot but the dredged the place for the cruise ship and this wrecked the whole eco system there this is on the deep water quay and you cant access lynces quay at the end of the town which was a good spot

mack bashing (when they're in), wear a helmet for personal safety, conger by the bridge, mullet if you head up the harbour a bit, pin whiting in winter

not much else there really anymore

Give the Park on the eastern end a go. It can throw up all sorts of surprises. You might even pick up a thornie :wink: . The place hasn't suffered the ravages of dredging so can still fish well. Donie Geary has opened a new tackle shop in the centre of Cobh, so a trip to Cobh might be worth it for that alone....best of luck Donie :D
