People:myself and saltydog

Duration:4-12

Tide:incoming

Weather:overcast but calm

Bait:lug mack sandeel

Rigs:flappers and a clipdown

Results:7 flounder 1 turbot 1 coalie

Report: a few pm's and txt's ensured the lugworms from the previous days fishing would be used... and used they were
lettergesh was the venue, and flat calm sea's greeted us as we arrived with a nice blazing sun, what a day to be putting on waders  fishing started off slow with nothing in the first hour or so, then the tide started to push and a nice small flattie(flounder) to me(blank saved). then a while later another small one, , (still nothing to saltydog  )

there was a bit more movement to the water after a while as a sea breeze crept along(but wasnt sustained) i took a mosey out into the water to check my rig to find it moving happily with fish.. reeled in and found 2 flounder and a teabag (turbot) sucking nicely on the baits. (still othing for salty) by this time darkness was creeping near as the sun was dropping slowly and finally, a nice little flatty for saltydog (for a while we were contemplating going over to lil'killary to save a blank) and as darkness prevailed another two flounder found there way to saltydog's hooks, nearing the end i reeled in to find a nice little coalie sucking on a lugworm and size 2 hook. finished up with 2 new species for the year(coalie and turbot) and saltydog learned a few new tactics in fishin

had to fish the left beside the rocks due to swimmers.. i would have gone further to the right but there was no possibility of that :?

I fished the left hand side of the beach too. I suppose its hard to get too many flats on size 4/0 eagle claw hooks.
