Report: Decided to try again for bass in kilgorman. weather was much milder than expected . we had that many layers on we were like two Michelin men on the beach  The fishing was slow to start off, but with the east wind we were more hopeful than expectant  . It was good to get our first fish each and save the blank  .( I'm starting to get paranoid about blanking  .) Neil caught a nice Dab, and I got off the mark with a mini whiting, but the pressure was off and we could enjoy the fishing. Neil had yet to christen his new rod with a catch and was catching all his fish on his old one. I was fishing 2 rods but one is a spinning rod and I learned that this rod is too small for the beach as it sits too low on the tripod and catches all the waves. In the dark with the tip light it dances like crazy and you 'd never see a bite  . As the evening wore on Neil christened his new rod with a doggie  , and the fish were coming steady enough. We were getting doubles but no sign of a bass  .We left when we had enough of the doggies. Not to worry, we had a good night and caught some fish, what more could we ask for  ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,A BASS  ,,,,,ah now!!,,, THAT WOULD BE JUST GREEDY
