Hi,
Not pointing the finger at anyone, i would like to make one statement.
Whoever was fishing there over weekend, failed to remove baited tackle from the pier end. Not only was i lucky that my prized springer did not sallow a baited hook (cast included baited hooks and lead, including 2 individual hooks) left behind, but several gulls were picking off the scrap mackerel baits.
this is totally irresponsible!

that pier is always destroyed when you go down to the end of it - even with the bin in prime position - people cant seem to use it
any joy?

doesint take much to spend a minute or 2 gathering up your bait wrappers and busted rigs at the end of the day, throw them in to a bag and in to the bin, or bring it home. Pure laziness... Balscadden in howth would be a good example, i personally dont like fishing there because i dont want to be associated with the amount of s^*te left around the place

I was only walking the dogs yesterday morning! Haven't had an opportunity recently. Will wait for the weather to improve.
