People:Donegal Bay SAC club league
Duration:7pm to 10.30pm
Tide:Flooding
Weather:Very cold but with wind having slacked the surf was ideal
Bait:Lugworm, blk lug, whites, mackerel, sandeel
Rigs:Flappers
Results:Flounder, sea trout, coalies, 5 beard rockling, plaice, whiting
Report:Was good to get out on Rossnowlagh again not having fished it since the masters and with a picture perfect surf we were all expecting good fishing. Alas it was only small stuff that came out of the tables although it was a case of fish most casts, biggest flat would have only made 29cm.
Interestingly a sea trout of 39cm took a bunch of whites tipped off with a sliver of squid, wasn't what i was expecting....still not much use in a comp  Was surprised too at a little plaice that took a small blow lug, cool we thing but only 17cm. Winner had three flounder.
