People:myself and nige

Duration: 4hrs(i think)

Tide: over the high

Weather:miserable, winds and rain

Bait:mack and squid

Rigs:pulley, 3hook boom, 1hook clipped down

Results:
nige:thornie and a doggie
me: 4 doggies, 3 coalfish, 5bearded rockling and a thornie

Report:
got to mark and set upwith a pulley and whacked it out.. then set up the spinning rod with a 3 hook boom and a 2oz lead, nige setup beside me with just the one rod..

not long after the spinning rod went mental...

a nice 40cm coalie was to answer for it..

soon after i noticed nige's rod twitch..
the culprit was a 39cm thornie... a very nice fish considering the time of year..
the nige hooked into a doggie..

i got another 2 coalie around the same size as the first, then the doggies too a fance to my baits, the first caught on the beachcaster and the second to the spinning rod with squid baits.. then later got a massive knock on the spinning rod  was hoping for a ray, but alas it wasnt to be.. juyast a nice double shot of doggies, all the doggies were large and well few by the looks of them, except my second which would just barely count in a competition...

time to pack up and felt a nice bit of weight on the zzippy, thankfully the sl20 made life easy and pulled out...

what an end to the year, very much doubt i'll be out again this year so it rounded off the year very nicely.. and it was also fish #607..

ya a good session. after catching the thornie I had to tie my rod rest to the railing to stop the wind knocking it.
