Report: Headed to a spot that i had heard of years ago but never fished with a mate of mine. Weather was afoul wind and rain. My mate was into fish first with a Coalie of 38cm then another of 36cm then a Dog of 48cm whilst i was fishless
Fishing died down for a bit then i had two Coalies in two casts followed by my first Donegal BASS    46cm of pure silver, fish was quickly Pictured and returned. I re baited and cast out and straight away i was into another Bass this time 54cm of silver again he was quickly returned. No more fish after that but i didn't care i had caught a Donegal Bass   :P :P

some good bass to be had off tullan strand on the outskirts of bundoran.
fished a comp there last year and there was an 8lber landed and i lost another one in the surf at my feet that was about the same weight, broke a 20lb snood)
just goes to show pwoplw that the irish coast is alive and kicking and with enough time practice and patience your efforts will be rewarded
well done danny
