Report: speechless after the bass only fishing a few months only able to cast about 40 yards 2 nice cod (well big enough for dinner)

Hi Derek,

The fact that you can cast 40yds is usually good enough for bass (especially after dark). Most of mine this year have been taken to that or less. Congrats on your first one anyway. Many more to come for you I hope.

Good stuff Derek, well done on the bass. You'd be surprised at just how close bass can be to the shore. I had a couple out that direction last year, using a flyer rig fished very close in amongst the breakers.

thanks lads really have to sort this casting out. its not the gear cause it cost a fortune. just cant seeem to break 50 yards
