Went this morning at 9.30 to the wall, 200 metres after the grass.
Were already 20 - 25 other anglers.
Me and my friend fished from 10 till 2 pm, HT at 1.50 pm
each two rods, single hooks, all kind of baits: razor, fresh lug, fresh crab, mackerel, squid,...
Heavy incoming tide and lots of grass, difficult to fish. We tried all distances: 100 m, 70 m, 50, 25 m,.... and really, NO snapp the whole morning.
I informed the other lads over there, as far as I heard, nobody had something.
Cod mecca or not, probably last time I went the wall, was very disappointed, too much people, too much litter, too noisy,.... I go wednesday back to Sandycove, but further on, near the rocks and will use fresh crab and lug.

And what about the pier in front of the two pubs??n I never fished there before but was interested today, had a look but finally decided to go further.
At the pier: HT or LT? Night? worth to fish there?

xavier, dont know much about the pier really only fished it once a few years ago only got some whiting there that was at night time, but id be thinking you'd get some cod there aswell like they have to pass the pier to get to the wall
