Report: set out for afternoons fishing after college, had one species in mind, flounder. started off at one end of the beach where there is rough ground and sand mixed together, started casting fresh crab towards the sand, and got nothing. move back down towards clean ground and straight away bagged a few small whiting, then all went quite. shortly before i packed i bagged a corkwing wrasse over sand of all places and a mackerel. on my last cast i got a good rattle on the tip, i suspected it was flounder as it was casted only 5 yards out, i decided to let it develop, while reeling it in i noticed there was a bit of weight, but then it fell off, probably a crab, oh well lovely evening but i had to get home for the match.
