was going off my head at home so decided an impromtu trip was called for. headed off to bantry to see if there was any ray going. with the weather conditions i wasnt overly confident of seeing any but theres always the dogs to keep me occupied. on arrival i was greated with a throughly venomous sea. got to my spot and put up the beach buddy.
one note on the beach buddy. the weather i had it up in was definatly at the extreme end of the scale but with enough stone and shingle on the flaps there was never as much as a budge out of it..i would definatley recomend one to those interested in a degree of comfort.
on the fishing side of things bites were relatively difficult to spot with the gales but there was a few fish going.i had 6 dogs and 2 huss, one about 5 lbs and the other about 7 lb ish. in the weather conditions (i had to use a 7oz gripper to hold bottom) i was very happy with the results...also cant speak highly enough of the greys smock.. very comfortable, warm and most importantly waterproof.
